The end of the year is a time when most of us take a little time off. Whether we’re celebrating a specific holiday such as Christmas, or just need a holiday at the end of a busy 2022, there’s an air of anticipation wafting through the Virgin Mobile offices this December.
We chatted with some of our team to find out just what everyone’s up to.
We asked Michael from Australia, Ganesh from India, Ihab from Jordan, Jean from The Philippines, Vaishnavi from India, and Rawan from the UAE to share their holiday plans for the most fun month of the year.
Rawan, UAE:
I’m planning to spend some time with friends. We’ll probably do a barbecue and play games. I also want to spend some time with my family. I'm also planning to visit a convention in Sharjah featuring a local artist whose work I’m a fan of. A lot of local artists who’ll be there are my friends, so I want to show my support. I also want to sleep more! Not having to wake up to an alarm feels great. I'm also looking forward to creating some art.
Vaishnavi, India:
I’m planning to spend a lot of December with my family and make time to go to IKEA, which will take half a day. I also want to spend time outdoors camping. Most excitingly though, I'm looking forward to spending some time with my puppy, pampering him and just playing with him.
Jean, Philippines:
I’m planning to spend it with my friends and we’re planning to go out of town. I’m looking forward to a road trip, board games, and a full day of rest.
Ihab, Jordan:
I'll be camping with my buddies, and then have a barbecue with the family. Afterwards, I'm allocating one day just for relaxation, catching up on YouTube with some reading. I'm also looking forward to beating my cousin at Monopoly. Then there will be one day preparing myself mentally to come back to the office!
Ganesh, India:
I’m going to the Legoland Water Park. That’s the plan for one day. If I have more energy left, I’ll do the same for another day! The reason I’m going to a waterpark is that I’m going to go with my kid. And the plan is to just be happy with him for no reason – and enjoy life.
Michael, Australia:
I’m looking forward to spending the Christmas holidays with my family. They’re coming over from overseas to spend some time with us for a few weeks – which is going to be fantastic. We’re planning to go to Oman. We’ll be visiting Musandam. We're looking forward to enjoying the scenery over there, with the lovely boats, and enjoying the wildlife and nature in this lovely winter weather.
